Our Story

Skoog is a PR, branding and marketing agency with team members in Chicago, New York, and Miami. Founded by Melissa Skoog in 2012, we got our start coordinating PR, store openings and events for brands like Gucci and Tiffany & Co.
Over the years, we’ve added new industries and services to the mix, but the beating heart of the agency always has been and always will be our people. Cross-trained, super smart and just generally fun to be around, we feed off of each other’s passion and talent to overdeliver for our clients. We just can’t help it.

About Melissa Skoog

Melissa is the founder, visionary and fearless leader behind Skoog. After working as an editor for Vogue and Marie Claire, and VP of Public Relations for Prada USA, Melissa parlayed her vast industry knowledge, connections and deep understanding of brand storytelling to launch her own agency in 2012. Ten years later, Melissa is incredibly proud of the team she’s built and the work they’ve done.

Philanthropy and Giving Back
A proud graduate of the University of Illinois, Melissa is forever grateful for the support she received from her family while she was in school. Realizing the importance of paying that support forward, she and her husband created the Skoog Dunagan Family Student Support Fund to support fine arts students seeking educational experiences outside of the classroom.
