Brand Refresh

A fixture in the luxury leather goods market for nearly half a century, Ghurka hired Skoog to help reinvigorate its business. We started with some renovation, drafting a new brand platform that redefined Ghurka’s values, tone of voice and key messages. We paired this with a refreshed design system and brand guidelines that respected Ghurka’s history while incorporating thoughtful modern touches.

Website, Email & Social

With a strong brand foundation in place, we turned our attention to Ghurka’s online presence, leveraging the freshly created brand guidelines to design a new website and online store. Post-launch, Skoog supported the new site with the addition of new products, as well as multiple homepage updates each month. We also aided Ghurka’s online marketing efforts, drafting an Instagram content calendar, as well as writing Facebook ads and dozens of emails during the brand’s crucial Q4.

PR & Affiliate Marketing

To ensure the story of Ghurka’s renaissance reached the brand’s well-heeled aficionado target audience, Skoog secured pieces about the executive team leading Ghurka’s transformation, President Jacques Panis and Creative Director John Truex, in influential lifestyle and fashion publications. Post-launch, we kept conversations with editors going, using new product releases to maintain a steady drumbeat of coverage. And, in a first for the brand, we set up an affiliate marketing program, connecting the dots between PR and sales.
